EBB Hotel

The boutique Ebb Dunedin is a distinctive modern addition to the city’s hospitality scene, and Stewart Construction played a key role in bringing the design-led project to life. As the main contractor, Stewart Construction delivered the hotel’s four-storey structure, working closely with architect Gary Todd and the wider design team to realise the building’s striking modernist vision.

The project required careful attention to detail, from the exposed steel and glass structure to the complex glazed façade featuring artwork inspired by Otago Harbour. Stewart Construction also delivered high-quality interior finishes and bespoke joinery elements, contributing to the refined, contemporary character of the 28-room boutique hotel.

Completed in 2021, the project highlights Stewart Construction’s capability in delivering architecturally ambitious commercial developments, combining craftsmanship, collaboration, and technical expertise to help create one of Dunedin’s most distinctive hospitality destinations.
